The Team
Ms. Riya Ann Cherian, Director - Academics leads the academic, student orientation and operations aspect of the institution. She has guided thousands of students to achieve their dream careers. Her futuristic vision, brilliant ideas and dynamic execution has enabled the academy to grow and be recognized for its innovative training methodology.
Mr. Ninan John, Director - Operations is a post graduate in management with managerial experience in varied industries. He is a consultant for many reputed organizations. He supports the academy from the marketing, placement and strategic point of view.
Mr. Cherian John, Director - Finance is an Engineer by profession who has more than twenty years of management experience. He drives the organization with a long term perspective, in product design & development, financial control and thought leadership.
Mr. Roy George, Head of Department - Shipping & Logistics has, for more than 30 years, worked in Trading, Shipping, Logistics and Freight Forwarding industry in Middle East & India with major shipping business houses like MAERSK, DSR – SENATOR, ARAB COMBINED SHIPPING AND TRANSPORT CO, NATIONAL SHIPPING CO OF SAUDI ARABIA, CLARION SHIPPING and GOLDEN CARGO. With his magnificent leadership qualities, he has taken the Shipping & Logistics programme of Guiders Academy to world class standards.
Mr. Jagadish Nair, Head of Department - Aviation & Tourism, has a covetable career in Travel and Tourism segment. He has worked with reputed organizations in Asia and Middle East for over 35 years. Mr. Jagadish has done multiple courses including Senior Management airline programmes with IATA at Geneva as well as Montreal. He is instrumental in revolutionizing the teaching methodology for Aviation & Tourism vertical at Guiders Academy.
The faculty of the academy is well qualified and experienced to impart the right knowledge in the most effective way. In addition, Guiders Academy arranges periodic interactive sessions with “industry experts and personalities”, so that the students get the right slice of training.
